Exploring the Charm of Folk Culture
Xi’an International Studies University Steps Into Pit Town, Jia County, Yulin City, Fueling Rural Revitalization with the Power of Youth
To deeply observe the new appearance of rural development and explore the path of beautiful rural development, on July 18th, the "Red Bull Youth Language" practice team from the Xi’an International Studies University went to Pit Town, Jia County, Yulin City to carry out a 20-day summer social practice activity.
On the afternoon of July 20th, the practice team arrived at the Red Bull Folk Culture Village. With the full assistance of the village committee, the eight members of the "Red Bull Youth Language" off-line team conducted a "Youth Language" promotion meeting for the Red Bull's development, proceeding communication and negotiation with local workers
On the morning of July 25th, the practice team followed the steps of the local guide into the Red Bull Folk Museum. In the Agricultural Tools Museum, they experienced the wisdom of ancient labor; in the Daily Clothing Museum, they appreciated the life style of the "Northern Shaanxi" people. To further understand the development of the Village, the practice team distributed survey questionnaires to villagers and tourists, providing data support for late folk culture research.
In addition to off-line practice, the team members took advantage of the self-media benefits,usinglive broadcast platforms to showcase the northern Shaanxi folk culture and beautiful natural scenery of Red Bull Village, guiding tourists through the long river of history, appreciating the charm of Red Bull folk culture, and understanding the profound meaning of "experience a century in a day's tour".
The next,the team members and local villagers jointly performed "A Bull on the High Mountain". The members gained valuable experience and deep feelings through the performance.
Lately,"The off-line practice team of "Red Bull GreenLanguage" went to KengTown Middle School inJiaxian County to carry outteaching activities, topractice the originalintention of "promoting folkculture", helping culturalinheritance and promoteeducational development, which isconducted on both onlineand offline platforms, usinga "online + offline" teaching mode to promote learningin both directions."
As China' teenagers, we will continue to use our youth to help rural development and revitalization.
